The National Park Service offers monthly full moon/sunset walks at the Point Bonita Lighthouse in the Marin Headlands north of San Francisco. The tour is limited to 50 people and fills up quickly, so make your reservations early if you' like to go. More than 300 boats ran aground near the Golden Gate during the Gold Rush years. In 1877 the lighthouse was moved to its current location because the original location with higher elevation was often too obscured by fog for the light to be visible from the bay. I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photos from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves to pop the scene. I welcome and appreciate your critical feedback. -- ƒ/8.0, 28 mm, 1/30 sec, ISO 100, Sony A7 II, FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS, HDR, 3 RAW exposures, _DSC9835_6_7_hdr4bal1pai5g.jpg -- CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, © Peter Thoeny, Quality HDR Photography
